President, Muhammadu Buhari  left New York today to United Kingdom (London).

President Muhammadu Buhari addressed the gathering of world leaders at the United Nations General Assembly on Tuesday, in New York.  In his address he solicited for the support of international community in tackling global challenges, and our individual nations,state institutions are being strengthened to promote accountability, in other to combat corruption and asset recovery, as ECOWAS came together to uphold democratic principles in  Gambia and Cote D’Ivoire. This can only be achieved through the international community cooperation, then provide critical assistance and support materials.  We shall as well cooperate in addressing the growing transnational crimes such as  modern-day slavery, human trafficking, and cybercrime.

President Buhari held a bilateral meeting with His Excellency Nana Akufo-Addo President of Ghana  and King Abdullah II of Jordan King.

The Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo presided over the weekly Federal Executive Council meeting at the Presidential Villa Abuja .   W hich started exactly 11.05 AM this morning, while His Excellency President Muhammadu Buhari is in New York with other world leaders as the 72nd United Nation s General Assembly meeting is going on, and we hope it could bring an en-lasting peace in Nigeria and they entire world especially Syria .  

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has deployed its air assets in support of the military operation in South-East tagged Operation Python Dance II .   The essence of the deployment of Alpha Jet aircraft is to provide the necessary air cover to the ground troops to enhance overall operational cohesion and efficiency.
