A medical doctor who was kidnapped in Owerri, as announced by the parish priest of saint Lazarus catholic chaplaincy, Owerri correction service, Rev. Father Eustace Njoku, who informed the congregation during the last week Tuesday adoration to join in praying for the release of the doctor as he was told by the doctor's sister, whose name was not mentioned.   But from the report received from father Eustace Njoku who updated the congregation after the Tuesday adoration announced that the abducted doctor have regained his freedom from the den of kidnappers unhurt and went further to say that a huge ransom of money was paid for his release.  The priest said the kidnapped doctor's name is Dr.Thomas, but did not mention the surname and the name of the hospital where he is  working.   Rev.Father Njoku concluded by saying that he will meet the kidnapped doctor and the sister today in his office to get more updates after their meeting, possibly the congregation will be informed
