Nollywood veteran actor Tom Njemanze celebrated his 70 years birthday at his residence in Owerri. He have been known for his reckless chain smoking, all through the night of his birthday celebration was a non-stop system. Tom is a high life Bongo artiste and acted so many movies, but was given the leading role in a movie titled wrenched. He established a good relationship with late Sam Loco and so many others. Most of the well known actors and actresses in the movie industry the likes of Genevieve Nnaji, Chinedu Ikedieze, Osita Iheme, Kanayo.O.Kanayo , Pete Edochie were not present to honor him, including the well known musicians in Imo state. Except the Imo state chapter of actors guild of Nigeria made up of younger generation, which was led by the state president of AGN Mrs.Nneoma Ukpabi with other exco's as well comic actor Imo, honored Tom. Nkotonko an Igbo Nollywood drama music comedy actors Emeka Ngannori (Omalicha) and Shadon Onukaogu as well known as Akuebe were spotted at Bongo square in Owerri with other actors and actresses participating in a movie audition. Emeka asked their fans to keep supporting them and the should expect more new movies from them soon Nkotonko reloaded will be released. but the issue of Nkotonko been involved in rituals killings or armed robbery which was seen on the social media they are all false information to tarnish the personality and Image of the actor in the society.
Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.
