A medical doctor was kidnapped in Owerri

The parish priest of saint Lazarus catholic chaplaincy Owerri correction service Rev.Fr. Eustace Njoku, at the Tuesday adoration held on the 21st of July 2020, announced to the congregation who were present, during his closing prayer remarks, that a medical doctor was kidnapped in Owerri and since yesterday the family is yet to be contacted, but the priest did not reveal to the congregation the details of medical personnel.   But the priest said the mother of the doctor informed him about ugly the situation yesterday, it is been speculated that it happened on Sunday 19th of July 2020 and appealed to the congregation to pray for his release unconditionally without been hurt by syndicate captors and the prayer point is God set confusion among the kidnappers gang as the congregation commence speaking in tongues and concluded with a holy ghost fire.

 Fr.Eustace Njoku promise to give the details of his kidnapped next Tuesday adoration, which will be a testimony given by the mother of the doctor.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
