Solo Mourinho mocks the poor reconstruction job done at old stadium complex

Hot.FM radio sports presenter Solomon Onu popularly known as Solo Mourinho early this morning during his 7.30 am sports program, mocked the poor reconstruction job going on inside the old stadium complex in Owerri.  Which was demolished by the former governor of Imo state Owelle Rochas Okorocha during his administration.

 According to Solo Mourinho he said " I do not understand the kind of reconstruction job going on inside the old township stadium complex and called on the inspection team as well the Imo state governor his excellency Rt.Hon.Emeka Ihedioha to have a rethink on that project to avoid a deadly collapse disaster in future and appealed to the Imo state government to bring back the Dan-Anyiam stadium we need it badly". 

But the governor have approved the construction of mini stadium in the twenty seven local government areas in Imo state and he has been visiting the site to know the extent of Job been done there if it is concurrent to the approved fund.

Solo advised the governor to construct a sports viewing centre inside the mini stadium which will help to generate an internal revenue for the state when sports tourist visits and create an employment opportunity for our youths.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
