Three Rotarian club members who came for a retreat  and attended a joint fellowship of Aladinma district of 9142, were yesterday kidnapped along Port-Harcourt road in Owerri, when they went for lunch at Hungry man restaurant.  According to the report received by the Drizzlersnews, they were kidnapped and whisked away with a Toyota Sienna .  It was speculated that they were from Ohaji Egbeama, but they are operating along Port-Harcourt - Owerri express road and from police track report they were located at Ikenegbu before the signals were lost. Although no contact have been received by their various families from the kidnappers to know the actual ransom to paid.     

The cult clash between vikings and black axe which started since last Sunday at Owerri nchi-ise autonomous community in Owerri Municipal local government area, two persons have so how far been killed at different location in Alaenyi street and Cherubim junction both are in umu-Orooronjo in Owerri nchi-ise autonomous community. Another person have been shot and confirmed dead at Wetheral road in Owerri this evening by 10.00 PM.   According to the report received by the Drizzlersnews from an eyewitness account, through a telephone conversion, he has been rushed to an undisclosed hospital in Owerri and his identity have not been actually been revealed, but resides at Orooronjo in nchi-ise autonomous in Owerri Municipal.  An investigation is been carried out to know the killers of Bruno Uche chukwu who is identified as the personal assistant to Jasper Ndubuaku chairman Imo state recovery committee that was shot dead on Sunday at School road junction.

A member of supreme vikings confraternity (SVC) was shot dead on the Sunday 22nd of September 2019 at exactly 4.00 PM at school road junction in Owerri.   According to an eye witness report, he is known as Bruno Uchechukwu he resides at umu-Ororonjo in Owerri nchi-ise autonomous community, but he hails from Ikeduru local government area as well a graduate and have completed his youth service . He has been identified as a personal assistant to the Imo state recovery committee chairman Jasper Ndubuaku. But the cult group that shot him dead is yet to be identified and the entire community of Owerri nchi-ise community is in disarray over the death of the young man. National drug law enforcement agency(NDLEA) officers  this evening during there routine stop and search operation arrested three persons who were suspected heroin and marijuana peddlers at Trans-Egbu road,located at Owerri-umuahia  express road in Imo state.  Although the details of the arrested  suspected culprits were not revealed to the Drizzlersnews crew, but investigation is been carried out.

Owerri municipal council security guard yesterday arrested an unidentified children who have been roaming about and constituting nuisance in the street of Ikenegbu layout in Owerri since year.  According to the report received the children have been handed over to police for further investigation and properly counseling .  Although various comments have been trending in the social media for their quick responds to salvage the future of those children, but many are pleading with the Imo state government to ensure that those children are sent back to school and appeal that the guidance & counseling teachers should be reconstituted into our educational system to curtail the bad vices like cultism in our society.

In the early hours of today in Okigwe, Imo state, a boy of 16 years old shot a boy of 10years old to death in the presence of his mother. According to an eyewitness who contacted us via mail, the 16 years old boy paid a visit to the 10 years old boy who lives behind a popular bar in the area called Apple Seed and asked the mother of the boy to talk his son. The woman not knowing he was going to kill his son, went ahead to summon the boy who was busy in the parlour. On sighting the boy coming out from the house, he shot him and alighted It was such a painful scene that nobody could take pictures of the dead boy. A team of policemen stormed the area on getting the information, made some arrest and later left with the corpse. One of our sources confirmed that the killing is cult related.

The management of Whiteplain British School has called out First Bank Nigeria Limited over loan scam that would have seen the bank taken over their school if not for the intervention of the National Assembly. Dr. Francis Nwafor, the Director, Whiteplain British School located at Jabi in Federal Capital Territory Abuja, said that they (Whiteplain British School) went into an agreement with First Bank not knowing the deal would have cost them everything they had if not for the intervention of a panel set up by the National Assembly. Dr. Nwafor through a press statement revealed that Whiteplain British School had taken a loan of 690 million Naira from First Bank, which includes 200 Million Naira running cost and without the knowledge of the school, First Bank withdrew 188. 6 Million as Perfection charges. The release by the school also has it that First Bank has through their lawyer, accepted to have forged land documents issued to the school

A three-story building on Wednesday, September 11, collapsed after a heavy downpour at Onitsha, Anambra state.  The scene was cordoned off by the Police to prevent any unforeseen circumstance, the property is located at No. 22 Nkisi Aroli street in Onitsha and the owner was however identified as Chukwuma Njeka.   It was learnt that the rear fence of the Onitsha custodial center (formerly known as Onitsha prison) suffered a similar fate as it collapsed at about 6:30 am during the heavy downpour.  But no life was lost in the incident, neither did any prisoner escape.

A bureau de changer who withdrew the sum of one million naira from one of the mega banks, at bank road in Owerri.  He was trailed to Owerri municipal secretariat  by the armed robbers with a Toyota Camry and got knocked down from his motor cycle by the armed robbers at Owerri municipal secretariat gate, but could not run because he sustained a ruptured ankle injury in his encounter with the armed robbers who surrendered him with an AK47 gun and took his bag where he kept his money but their faces were covered.   But the bureau de changer was rushed to federal medical centre for treatment.
