Imo state first lady Ebere Ihedioha commend ENTRACO

Imo state environmental transformation commission (ENTRACO) have been commended by the first lady Ebere Ihedioha for their responsiveness in ensuring that our environment is clean through the restoration of the door to door system of waste disposal and monthly clean up exercise been carried out in the state ministries and other parastatal's in every last Friday and Saturday of the month and appealed to every Imo indigenes as well non-indigenes of Imo state to join hands in the rebuild vision agenda of the present administration of Emeka Ihedioha to bring back the glorious days of Imo as the cleanest state in Nigeria. 


Although she gave out rows of trash bags free no charge to women in the grand finale 2019 August meeting and educated them on the proper system of useage, during waste disposal.

Nkotonko an Igbo Nollywood drama music comedy actors Emeka Ngannori  (Omalicha) and Shadon Onukaogu as well known as Akuebe were spotted at Bongo square in Owerri with other actors and actresses participating in a movie audition. Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
