Imostate first lady Ebere Ihedioha empowered 15 indigent women

Imo state first lady Ebere Ihedioha at the grand finale of the 2019 August meeting held at the grasshopper handball stadium, through her foundation which was established twelve years ago, in conjunction with the ministry of women and gender affairs, empowered fifteen indigent women with various gift items ranging from refrigerator, tailoring machine and gas cooker, generators which were presented by her partners, as he charged the women to utilize the opportunity to improve their economic condition in their various chosen careers.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
