Imo state civil guard and security watch clamour for backlog of 5months unpaid salaries

Imo state civil guard and security watch have cried out in a loud voice of hunger and starvation on the faces of
their dying families over their unpaid five months salaries, since the hand over of the present administration of Emeka Ihedioha as the governor of Imo state and no veritable responds after the verification exercise.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
