Member of supreme vikings confraternity was shot dead at school road in Owerri Municipal

A member of supreme vikings confraternity (SVC) was shot dead on the Sunday 22nd of September 2019 at exactly 4.00 PM at school road junction in Owerri.  

 According to an eye witness report, he is known as Bruno Uchechukwu he resides at umu-Ororonjo in Owerri nchi-ise autonomous community, but he hails from Ikeduru local government area as well a graduate and have completed his youth service .
He has been identified as a personal assistant to the Imo state recovery committee chairman Jasper Ndubuaku.

But the cult group that shot him dead is yet to be identified and the entire community of Owerri nchi-ise community is in disarray over the death of the young man.

Since that Sunday series of gun shots are been heard from every angle in the community of Owerri nchi-ise which are been released by unknown faces and security agencies have been on steady patrol in the community since the demise of the young man, so many have been in hide out to avoid been killed and night life activities have reduced drastically.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
