A new born baby dumped in a waste bin at Hardel junction Orji

This baby was found in a carton which was thrown into the waste bin early in the morning at
Hardel junction in Orji Owerri North local government area in Imo state.

Many have cried out against the atrocity been met on a new born baby rather than take it to a motherless babies home alive and some families are still looking for the fruit of the womb.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
