All you need to know about NDE and 774,000 job vacancies in Imo



National directorate of employment (NDE) office, located at the federal secretariat along Port- Harcourt road, Owerri in Imo state, according to the report received by the Drizzlersnews from an NDE staff, who announced
early Monday morning, 20th of July by 9.00 am, in the presence of the applicants, who arrived in there office to fill the forms for the nation wide seven hundred and seventy four thousand (774,000 ) job vacancies that exist in the local government in the federation, as announced by the federal government, have not commenced, due to the quagmire between the Muhammadu Buhari and  national assembly, based on that, no notified memo have been sent to the NDE agency and used the opportunity to inform the applicants that it is not a permanent employment, but a three months programme as successful applicants will be paid the sum of twenty thousand Naira (#20,000.00) . 

But all applicants are required to go to their various local government areas and fill the form or register their details through the local government interim chairman or councilor's of their wards, before the embargo is fully lifted, as drizzlersnews reporter moved around offices in the secretariat said the NDE staffs and immigration officers working inside the offices, do not have their nose masks or a placed buckets with water, soap and sanitizers, were not seen at the entrance gate of offices and no social distance was observed, but the COVID-19 committee task force are busy chasing the churches, private business owners for not observing social distance to curb the spread and policemen are busy arresting civilians for not putting on their face mask and bail out is three thousand Naira (#3,000) and one thousand five hundred Naira is police cost price for face mask, but inside the market it is sold at one hundred Naira (#100.00) .
