How to avoid embarrassment of Entraco in Owerri streets







The worst embarrassment you could have in Owerri town for luxury weekend or business trip and your car is been impounded by touts employed or contracted by Imo state state government known as environmental
transformation commission (ENTRACO) lead by the general manager honorable Mac-Donald Ebere and the director of operation honorable Clinton Amadi, due to you wrongly parked your car in the street or you contravened the one way traffic rules in the street, which will make the horrible looking touts to impound your vehicle by using toll van to carry your car to their office at Aba road with a penalty charges of twenty thousand Naira (#20.000) or to puncture your tires with a nail or any sharp object if you do not cooperate with them, if possible forcefully take your car key, your car battery plus your other valuables if you do not cooperate with them. 
To identify the workers of entraco the are usually on lime green colour with identification numbers on their uniform and the managing director as well other top officials of entraco wear an orange colour uniform. 

 One way traffic sign is placed with different symbols which drizzlersnews report will show to you and most of the one way traffic signs are intentionally wrongly placed in the street or it is in a place that eyes cannot be seen. 

 Some of the streets in Owerri that are one way traffic entrance are Okorie, Uratta, School road, Christ church, Lobo, Osuji, Njemanze, Iheanacho, Mann Street, Old market road, Orotibi, that have one entrance and presently no more double parking of cars rather park your cars on the left hand side of the road, no more on the right and do not park close to the junction. Look out for stone marks or paint marks on the road with the letter X , it signifies no parking. But my simple advise is if you cannot apply the new regulations of parking your cars go to old township stadium complex at Tellow road and park there, you can go to new stadium complex and park there and lastly go to Mann street primary school field opposit wetheral road and park there. 

 For the safety of your car and remember to lock your steering and pedals

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
