Another ritual sacrifice offered at Akaolovo Emekuku






Another ritual sacrifice was offered on the 21st of July, Wednesday afternoon by 2.00 pm, at a well known bus stop identified as kilometre 8 at Akaolovo Emekuku Owerri-North local government area in Imo state.

 According to the report received by the Drizzlersnews, a man was seen carrying a carton and dropped it at the Akalovo express road, which is close to kilometre 8 and the content in the carton is a dead fowl it's chicks and a hen, which were tied together with a rope and it was not buried, but dropped on the express road and people who saw it, interpreted it that a family could have been wiped out of this world through accident or any other diabolical means as cars plying that route was trying to dodge it, but it was crushed by a heavy duty lorry at night, but the feathers are still seen uptill today. 

 But the first one was seen at Ubowalla Emekuku at early this month, which was offered with a life two goats.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
