Oye & Obiano must vomit extorted funds - N-APGA
Mass protest was carried out by the members of New All Progressive Grande Alliance (N-APGA) at Wetheral road in the capital city of Imo state Owerri as the protesters were with various inscriptions asking the APGA national chairman Chief Victor Oye and Willie Obiano to step aside as APGA leaders. Then they should give proper account of all purchased nomination interest forms collected from contestants who were been screened out without no justification.
But Mr.Franklin Owunwa who led the protest in Owerri called on the independent electoral commission not to accept any result submitted by the APGA national chairman Chief Victor Oye because no primary election was conducted by Imo state APGA at Aladinma shopping mall and so many contestants names were omitted from the ballot papers delegates never exercised their franchised at the arena. Although the emerged selected winner of the APGA governorship primary election in Imo state as the flag bearer of APGA senator ifeanyi Godwin Ararume have been jubilating with his supporters because the primary election conducted was based on consensus of choice candidate by the national leadership of APGA who assumed that he can challenge and win the APC contestant Uche Nwosu and PDP contestant Emeka Ihedioha in the 2019 general election as former Imo state Governor Ikedi Ohakim and present governorship aspirant under All Progressive Grande Alliance have been speculated to have joined the Accord party.
