Prison inmates in Owerri correction service cell, have called on the government and the general public to support the improvement of the health services in the yard.  Drizzlersnews crew visited the prison yard and some of the inmates seen, were on queue begging the nurses on duty to give them medication for the ailment,which most of them complained of having sexual infections, swollen feet, headache, malaria and the doctor on duty was not  on seat, but may probably comeback on Saturday, as replied by the nurse who pleaded with the inmates to come back by six O clock in the evening  for the drugs.  Some inmates were asked to bring money for the purchase of medications outside the prison yard, which have been recommended for the treatment of their aliment, but it is not in the prison pharmacy at that moment . Imo state civil guard corps officers have threatened to embark on mass protest march against the government  in Owerri, if their six months salary is not paid to them.   According to the ir report, s ince the commencement of the present administration of Emeka Ihedioha as the governor of Imo state, he has paid them only two months salary, from July- December no salary for the m despite their services in the state . They are appealing to the g overn or of Imo state to reconside r his actions not to jeopardize in the rebuild process of Imo state, beca use we have families and still the indigenous children of Imo state, demanding for their six months salaries from the state govern or for services rendered on easing flow of traffic and regulation of laws or order on our roads is not a crime, nor a b ad idea.  

Amawom youth organization have successfully conducted their election and the new executives were duly inaugurated at Tetlow road junction.  But before the handover ceremony their were series of lectures organized for the new executives, which was conducted by the National drug law enforcement agency and the commissioner of police Imo state as a method of synchronization of crime combat in Owerri municipal local government area. A pastor was seen at Douglas road in Owerri, chasing mad people and dragging them out of people's shops were the ran into for safety.  Multitude of people stood and many were looking at him from their shops to see if the miracle will take place or laugh at him as a fake man of God if he fails.  But the mad people he caught were truly mentally ill and gave him tough time while speaking with them,  some of them gave him heavy punches on his face, which he dodged, but the woman threw stone on him and bite the pastor's hand while dragging her, but the pastor still stood his ground and persisted that she must be healed from mental illness, as she screamed that the pastor should leave them alone and the could not run away.     He sat them down on a road barricade and one of them defecated there. Early this morning at exactly 06.45 am a gas truck tanker fell on a 13years old girl, who happen to be a street cleaners daughter.  Her brain and bones were all crushed to piece due to the weight, and it is estimated that the truck weigh's about 120 tonnes, which could accumulate to 200,000 kilograms with it's gasoline content.  The sad incident scene happened at freedom square road by West end junction.  According to the report received by the Drizzlersnews   crew, late miss Ogechi and her sister Onyinyechi were assisting their mother in doing the street cleaning and sweeping job, which the Imo state government pay at the end of every month.  The tanker was on a high speed and took a one way lane because of the bad condition of the road, one of it's tires lost grip and fell on late miss Ogechi, who was very close to the truck and could not run, while disposing waste at west end junction refuse dump, after their sweeping duties.  But her...

Owerri catholic archdiocese auxiliary bishop, his grace Moses Chikwe yesterday was given a 2020 eight passenger Honda Excel Pilot Touring, worth $55,205 at Obiri Odenigbo where his installation reception was held.  The car was donated by a church member who never wanted his name mentioned in public and according to bishop chikwe he does not know the person but prayed that God will bless him and his family.

Tom is a high life Bongo artiste and acted so many movies, but was given the leading role in a movie titled wrenched. A young man who was suspected to be a ritualist, have been arrested by joint military task force known as operation iron gate at Somotochukwu diagnosis centre,which was formally known as Eke-Ukwu Owerri market.  He was seen by a woman in the female toilet draining urine and picking up menstruation pads, before she raised an alarm and he was caught as well beaten up.  The suspect sustained alot of injuries on his head and an accompanied bruises on the back, but the mob pressurized for a jungle justice, which was averted to follow the due process of the law in crime prosecution  and have been handed over to the police.       He has been sen two times, usually in the evening which he narrowly escaped  through an unknown destination.
