ST.Peter's catholic parish Ubowalla, welcome parish priest

Saint Peter's catholic parish Ubowalla Emekuku, received it's newly appointed parish priest Rev.Fr.Chijioke Ekeada.  
The handed over ceremony was superseded by Rev.Fr. Alex Okoro at the mother parish mount Camel catholic church.    As youths and elders of the Ubowalla community welcome the parish priest to Ubowalla community with traditional masquerade dance and fifty local gun shots, which were kept at strategic places at Nkwoemeke market square, where twenty one was been set, eight were at umu-Azoro kindred and twenty one at saint Peter's catholic parish field ubowalla. 

 Rev.Chijioke Ekeada was taking on a tour guard of the church premises and parish house by ST.Peter catholic church chairman Sylvester Ebere with Rev.Fr.Emmanuel Diala.

Nkotonko an Igbo Nollywood drama music comedy actors Emeka Ngannori  (Omalicha) and Shadon Onukaogu as well known as Akuebe were spotted at Bongo square in Owerri with other actors and actresses participating in a movie audition. Emeka asked their fans to keep supporting them and the should expect more new movies from them soon Nkotonko reloaded will be released. but the issue of Nkotonko been involved in rituals killings or armed robbery which was seen on the social media they are all false information to tarnish the personality and Image of the actor in the society.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
