Rev.Fr.Chijioke Ekeada made history at Ubowalla Emekuku

The parish priest of ST.Peter's catholic church Ubowalla Rev.Father Chijioke Ekeada, surprised the multitude of parishioners with their car convoy and great songs of praises to God for his welcome reception to the community, by breaking the convoy protocol at Orie umu-Akuru T-Junction, he stepped down from his Toyota V6 highlander,
as he joined the crowd in the procession and trekked from Orie umu-akuru T-Junction to Ubowalla, which took more than forty-five minutes,before the could get to the parish house. 

He was cheered up for showing his simplicity,hugged and prayed for the elderly as well sick people,who stood in-front of their compound looking at him as Ekeada passed for the first time in the history making of Ubowalla.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
