Politics: Governor Hope Uzodinma return back to Imo state, two weeks after terror attack by ESN

 

Imo state governor Hope Uzodinma and other top executives of his cabinet, have come back to the state, to continue their civic duties in the government house, since the recent ferocious attack. 

According to the report, received by the Drizzlersnews, governor Hope Uzodinma was seen, this afternoon at exactly 1.40 pm, at  the Sam Mbakwe airport, with the first lady Chioma Uzodinma, as there entourage was received by the deputy governor of Imo state professor Placid Njoku. 


Further details revealed to our news crew, is that the South-East governors forum, for the past two weeks, have been in the presidential villa Abuja, with Muhammadu Buhari, deliberating on the recent insecurity challenges observed in the zone, which have led to the killing and burning of police stations, as well release of prison inmates, from the custody of Nigerian correction service, as the members of the Eastern security network, which is a joint security force, with the indigenous people of Biafra, have been held responsible, over the recent chaos and one of the commanders of IPOB  known as Ikonso, have been killed in a shoot out with the army and innocent citizens have been killed in Imo state, since the attack started and which have created alot of panic among the law abiding citizens, especially at night and soon the governors are expected to address the situation. 

But the military have asked everybody within the zone, to go about their lawfully business, as the security of their lives and properties is granted.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
