Politics: PDP postponed primary election in Imo state, to a new fixed date

Peoples Democratic Party, postponed the conduct of there primary election in Imo state, due to logistical delay, observed in moving sensitive electoral materials, to the approved Kanu Nwankwo sports centre, used as a voting venue. 

According to the report, received by the Drizzlersnews correspondent, who said the accreditation of delegates, and aspirants, commenced very late, before an announcement was made, for every accredited delegates, to move to the voting venue, for the primaries election. 



But it took alot of time, for the delegates, to under go security checks and after due consideration, given by the electoral committee, that the primary election, will end very late, it was generally accepted by the committee, that the election should be postponed, until Thursday 26TH of May and it will start at exactly 9.00 PM, at Kanu Nwankwo sports centre in Owerri.
