I am the only disabled Imo governorship candidate - Athan Achonu

 

Imo state Labour party governorship candidate, Athan Achonu, announced his candidacy in the 2023 gubernatorial election, at the Kanu Nwankwo sports centre, after unveiling of his manifesto and gave a special recognition, to the special citizens of Imo state, by making a comic entertainment comedy act, of his disability, to the admiration of his supporters, with his identification signature of stating, to his supporters, in a loud shout out voice, with a microphone to get the necessary votes and he said  " I am the only disabled governorship candidate" and his supporters replied in laughter by calling him 

( one armed general) and which have been given to him (Athan) as his chieftaincy title known as ( Agu otu aka) . 

He believe that, their is ability in every disability and marked his assurance of victory, as the next Imo state governor.

Nkotonko an Igbo Nollywood drama music comedy actors Emeka Ngannori  (Omalicha) and Shadon Onukaogu as well known as Akuebe were spotted at Bongo square in Owerri with other actors and actresses participating in a movie audition. Emeka asked their fans to keep supporting them and the should expect more new movies from them soon Nkotonko reloaded will be released. but the issue of Nkotonko been involved in rituals killings or armed robbery which was seen on the social media they are all false information to tarnish the personality and Image of the actor in the society.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
