SA Security & Enforcement to Imo government,Maxwell Nlemadim celebrate Uguzo festival


The special adviser to Imo state governor on security and enforcement, who is known as Webber, Hon.Maxwell Ubanwa Nlemadim and his wife joined the entire Emekuku community to celebrate the annual Uguzo cultural festival, which was celebrated on the 9TH of November 2019 at Nkwoemeke market square in Owerri north local government area in Imo state.

Nkotonko an Igbo Nollywood drama music comedy actors Emeka Ngannori  (Omalicha) and Shadon Onukaogu as well known as Akuebe were spotted at Bongo square in Owerri with other actors and actresses participating in a movie audition. Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
