umu-Akuru Emekuku is in Owerri-North local government area in Imo state, held their first edition
of unity carnival which took place on the 29-31 of December 2019. 


The carnival street boat float march started from umu-Ofor kindred to Nkwoemeke market square and finally stopped at community secondary Emekuku were the musical stage was set up.
