A mad woman and her little female new born baby was seen breast feeding her child in an open unhygienic environment, at No 25 Nwodo street by Ekeonunwa street in Amawom Owerri Nichi-ise autonomous community in Owerri Municipal Local Government Area in Imo state. According to the report received the mad woman is from Oguta Local Government Area but was impregnated by a market toll collector in Ekeonunwa market known as Ofor but had denied been responsible for her pregnancy and have been receiving assistance from people for her babies up-keep.  But people are calling on the Imo state Government or the welfare to render assistance for the child's welfare.    

This road barricades were constructed by Imo state tax payers fund through the former Governor of Imo state his excellency Ikedi Ohakim to have free flow of traffic jams in the state capital Owerri, but was removed by the present governor of Imo state Rochas Okorocha who embarked on his urban renewal project in Owerri and it is been dumped and presently covered by over grown grasses at coca cola factory junction in Industrial layout estate in Owerri.

Imo state high court have nullified the impeachment process of Imo state Deputy Governor his Excellency Prince Eze Madumere.  Which was mustard by two-third majority of Imo state house of assembly members and the motion of impeachment was moved by the majority leader of the house of assembly representing Owerri Municipal Local Government area, Honorable Lugard Osuji.  According to the presiding judge, justice Benjamin Iheka affirmed that the impeachment process did not under go due process as stated by the constitution and neither is it legal. But despite the series of mass protest carried out in the state over impeachment of the Deputy Governor Prince Eze Madumere although the Imo state Governor Owelle Rochas Okorocha have maintained it's stand that his Deputy has been impeached as his successor the Imo state head of service Mr. Calistus Ekenze was stalled by court as new Imo state Deputy Governor during swearing in at Sam Mbakwe hall in concord hotel in Owerri.

The Imo state people's democratic party secretary Nze Ray Emeana appealed to Nigerians and God to forgive PDP party members only if they had listened to cry of poor masses and secondly presenting president Good Luck Ebele Jonathan as their presidential flag bearer in the last general election instead of fielding a Northern which led to the failure of PDP .

This old woman was suspected to be a scammer, she was caught by a man at Ama.JK junction in Owerri who raised an alarm that his two hundred thousand Naira which he withdrawn from the bank have been snatched by motor cycle bag snatchers while trying to assist the woman find her destination but she ran away without showing remorse.     While she was been interrogated by a traffic officer to ascertain her definite destination and mission in the state according to her report she said " she is from Eziama Orlu Local Government Area in Imo state that she was coming back from her daughter's place at Aba. When her luggage which she was carrying on her head were opened a phone was with her and other items inside the bag were only water proof bags which no reasonable item was inside it before she was handed over to police.

There was mass protest carried out this afternoon at the state secretariat of people's democratic party in Owerri over delegate list alteration battle of loyalist to deliver their candidates as party flag bearers which affected every local government area in Imo state and their have been clamour for credible fair primary election in the party but the state chairman Barrister Charles Ezekwem and other state executives of the party are in a close door meeting in the PDP secretariat.
