Court affirm Eze madumere as authentic Imo deputy

Imo state high court have nullified the impeachment process of Imo state Deputy Governor his Excellency Prince Eze Madumere. 

Which was mustard by two-third majority of Imo state house of assembly members and the motion of impeachment was moved by the majority leader of the house of assembly representing Owerri Municipal Local Government area, Honorable Lugard Osuji. 


According to the presiding judge, justice Benjamin Iheka affirmed that the impeachment process did not under go due process as stated by the constitution and neither is it legal. But despite the series of mass protest carried out in the state over impeachment of the Deputy Governor Prince Eze Madumere although the Imo state Governor Owelle Rochas Okorocha have maintained it's stand that his Deputy has been impeached as his successor the Imo state head of service Mr. Calistus Ekenze was stalled by court as new Imo state Deputy Governor during swearing in at Sam Mbakwe hall in concord hotel in Owerri.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
