An old woman caught in scam act in Owerri

This old woman was suspected to be a scammer, she was caught by a man at Ama.JK junction in Owerri who raised an alarm that his two hundred thousand Naira which he withdrawn from the bank have been snatched by motor cycle bag snatchers while trying to assist the woman find her destination but she ran away without showing remorse.   


While she was been interrogated by a traffic officer to ascertain her definite destination and mission in the state according to her report she said " she is from Eziama Orlu Local Government Area in Imo state that she was coming back from her daughter's place at Aba. When her luggage which she was carrying on her head were opened a phone was with her and other items inside the bag were only water proof bags which no reasonable item was inside it before she was handed over to police.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
