Umuocham powerfully suppressed Ubo Egbelu in Emekuku unity cup

 

In present generation of modern day football, history have totally, the analysis of football, because there are no longer mediocrity teams in the on going Emekuku football, but it was one of the greatest surprises seen, in the second match played on the 1ST of December 2021, between Umuocham versus Ubo Egbelu at Comprehensive secondary football field. 



Drizzlersnews sports correspondent, who said that match statistics showed, that Umuocham community made more goal attempts, than Ubo Egbelu team and the ball possession with passes completed is 70% for umuocham and 20% for Ubo Egbelu. 



But the first goal, was scored through an outside 18 yard strucked shot by Mbah Uche, towards ten minutes, to end the first half, and the second goal was scored, by Munachi Joshua, through a flank dribble, of the Ubo Egbelu defenders, close to the goal post, which was beautifully converted in the second half of the game, as the final score, ended 2-0 in favor of umuocham football community team.


 


    They umuocham is on top of the Emekuku football unity league team, with three points and two goals ahead, while Ezeogba is second, with a three points, which was unanimously handed over, to them after, a rowdy encounter, that led to the work over of Okwu Emeke team.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
