Abolish Diala,Osu,Ume,Ohu caste system in Emekuku- AJV Obinna

 Bishop of Owerri Catholic archdioceses his grace AJV  Obinna have challenged Emekuku community during the burial ceremony of Evans Nnadozie Anoshiri held at Immaculate conception catholic church Nkwo -Emeke parish,urging the congregation to abolish the trend of Osu caste system and other racist attack in our present generation Igbo communities which have denied so many marriage unions, political positions, Ezeship and chieftaincy titles as well jobs because you have no genealogical tree with them. 

Many are treated like slaves and outcasts who are from same ethnic group with the diala's it is very ungodly all humans created by God are equal as our sins have been washed by his blood on the cross of Calvary with the odenigbo lectures which since 1961 have given real explanations on certain cultural practices .

Nkotonko an Igbo Nollywood drama music comedy actors Emeka Ngannori  (Omalicha) and Shadon Onukaogu as well known as Akuebe were spotted at Bongo square in Owerri with other actors and actresses participating in a movie audition. Emeka asked their fans to keep supporting them and the should expect more new movies from them soon Nkotonko reloaded will be released. but the issue of Nkotonko been involved in rituals killings or armed robbery which was seen on the social media they are all false information to tarnish the personality and Image of the actor in the society.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
