INEC reschedule presidential election

Professor Mahmood Yakubu chairman Independent National Electoral Commission have announced a change of date for the anticipated presidential and national assembly election which have been extended by one week to due operational logistics reviewed by the commission to conduct a free and fair election in Nigeria. 

The presidential election is scheduled on the 23rd of February 2019 while the governorship and state house of assembly is fixed on the 9th of March 2019.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
