Civil Servants Cry For Three Months Salary




The Imo Governor His Excellency Owelle Rochas Okorocha on the 15th of December 2017 unveiled the Imo State Christmas village located at Imo State Victory Chapel in Imo State Government House Owerri, under the ministry of happiness and fulfillment purpose headed by Hon.(Mrs). Ogechi Ololo located at  Muhammadu Buhari Road (Bank road) by Nnamdi Azikwe Road (Okigwe Road) in Imo State capital Owerri.
The unveiling started with a christmas carol held at International  Convention Centre in Akani Ibiam Road (Warehouse junction) and the first bible reading was read by the First Lady of Imo State Her Excellency Nneoma Nkechinyere Okorocha (PHD) and the second bible reading was read by the Imo State House of Assembly speaker Rt.Hon.Acho Ihimi then the third reading of the bible was read by the Secretary of Imo State Government Sir.George Eche  and the last reading of the bible was read by the Governor of Imo State His Excellency Owelle Rochas Okorocha then thanked God for a glorious special 2017 Christmas and prayed that peace will return to Imostate  then a procession to the Imo State Government. 

Present at the 2017 Christmas Carol are Students of Rochas Foundation, Imo State Civil Servants, Captains of Industries and politicians.

Nkotonko an Igbo Nollywood drama music comedy actors Emeka Ngannori  (Omalicha) and Shadon Onukaogu as well known as Akuebe were spotted at Bongo square in Owerri with other actors and actresses participating in a movie audition. Emeka asked their fans to keep supporting them and the should expect more new movies from them soon Nkotonko reloaded will be released. but the issue of Nkotonko been involved in rituals killings or armed robbery which was seen on the social media they are all false information to tarnish the personality and Image of the actor in the society.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
