Mobi Oparaku Power Support For Owerri Unity Cup


The Ex-Super Eagles of Nigeria right full back Mobi Oparaku was with his friends to watch the Owerri Nchi-ise unity Soccer tournament football match between Amawom and Umu - Odu kindred at the Old township Stadium in Tetlow road in Owerri Municipal Local Government Area in Imo state. 
Despite not his own kindred umu-Onyechie then prayed that after the soccer tournament some players that did well will get signed by clubs and asked the players to be disciplined both in the football pitch and outside the world. 
Mobi used the opportunity to relate with his old pals in Igbo language and thanked Kelechi Iheanacho for his support in youth development programmes in the grass root and called for sponsorship from cooperate organizations then concluded that by asking Kelechi Iheanacho to remain focused and put his trust in almight God.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
