Hon.Emeka Ihedioha Spit Fire On Rochas

Former speaker of house of representative and Former Imo State Governorship aspirant under the peoples democratic party (PDP) his excellency Rt.Hon.Emeka Ihedioha have sworn to whip out the present administration of Imo State Governor his excellency Owelle Rochas Okorocha's atrocity out off Imo state Douglas House and used the opportunity to sympathize with people of Owerri n'ich-ise over the demolition of Eke-Ukwu Owerri market and all that sustained injuries especially the ten years old boy that died young somotouchukwu Ibeanusi who has been buried and prayed that God should give the family the fortitude to bear the repel lost. He was saying this while on a political visit to Amawom autonomous community in Owerri Municipal Local Government Area in Imo State and congratulated the newly  elected Amawom youth executives lead by the president Mr.Stephen Olumba Njemanze and Vice-President Obioyo Oparaaku then called for unity among Owerri zone political forum for their 2019 Governorship ambition in Imo state and asked them to support the peoples democratic party especially anybody who is up to the voting age should go and obtain his or her voters card in the local government secretariat. Ebube Agu of Owerri Osuji Leonard who was shot during the demolition of Eke-Ukwu Owerri market saga, apologized to hon.Emeka Ihedioha for not supporting him during his 2015 Governorship ambition rather he supported his excellency Owelle Rochas Okorocha All Progressive Congress (APC) and said he has returned like the prodigal son then promise to give him all the necessary support to ensure that hon.Emeka Ihedioha wins the 2019 governorship election. Present at the occasion was the Owerri federal constituency house of representative member hon.Francis Onyewuchi Ezenwa who unveiled the 2017 Amawom unity cup bill board donated by CJ Amaechi which kicks off on the 10th of December 2017 and used the opportunity to declare his interest to contest for the Owerri zone senatorial seat come 2019 and the president general of Owerri Municipal Local Government Area Chief Anukam Vincent Oweya was present to welcome Hon.Emeka Ihedioha and Hon.Francis Onyewuchi Ezenwa.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
