Feeding of Primary school Students commence in Imo state (Primary 4-6 Students excluded from the feeding budget)

The feeding of primary school students have commenced in Imo state which was one of the campaign promises of His Excellency President Muhammadu Buhari.  

It was flagged off in Imo state last year in Owerri at Owerri City Primary School located at fire service junction by the first lady of Imo state Her Excellency Nneoma Nkechi Okorocha (Dr).




Primary school students and their parents especially in Imo state have thanked His Excellency President Muhammadu  Buhari and Owelle Rochas Okorocha for their good gesture in the welfare of students in Nigeria . 

The primary 4-6 students called on president Muhammadu to include them in the feeding budget because the are also students and their children because every child have right to education in Nigeria.  Excluding them from their right shows that they are not citizens of Nigeria.

Nkotonko an Igbo Nollywood drama music comedy actors Emeka Ngannori  (Omalicha) and Shadon Onukaogu as well known as Akuebe were spotted at Bongo square in Owerri with other actors and actresses participating in a movie audition. Emeka asked their fans to keep supporting them and the should expect more new movies from them soon Nkotonko reloaded will be released. but the issue of Nkotonko been involved in rituals killings or armed robbery which was seen on the social media they are all false information to tarnish the personality and Image of the actor in the society.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
