Imo state IGR increased from #620 Million to #1.2 Billion-Emlumba

Hon.Declan Mbadiwe Emelumba during the press briefing announced the increment of Imo state internally generated revenue (IGR) for the month of January under
the administration of Emeka Ihedioha which is six hundred and twenty million naira to one billion two hundred thousand naira, since the past two months Hope Uzodimma took over as the executive governor of Imo state.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
