A woman died out of complication, while delivering twins at Okwu-emeke

 



A woman was confirmed dead out of complication this Sunday morning, while given birth of two female twins in a local maternity at Okwu-emeke in akaliukwu autonomous community in Emekuku. 


According to the report received by the Drizzlersnews, the woman delivered the first child successfully and she was pushing for the second child, but had difficulty due to complication and immediately she was rushed to Holy Rosary hospital Emekuku, where she gave birth to the second twin and died. 

The twins are confirmed strong and healthy, but the woman was married in Okwu-emeke, her details was not disclosed.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
