Timber & allied trader killed in Imo state (Graphical picture)

 

A timber and allied trader was killed in Owerri, by unknown identified persons and dumped his corpse,along Owerri-Port-Harcourt express road, where he bled to death.  

According to the report received by Drizzlersnews, from his fellow timber business colleagues in Naze, during their general discussion, disclosed to our corespondent that the trader was going for a business trip to Bayelsa state to purchase timber for sales with huge cash sum of money estimated to worth about one million Naira, which he  traveled with the cash that morning because his Bayelsa business partners, do not accept bank transfer.

But the timber trader was attacked by armed robbers, who stabbed him to death and left his corpse close to Apams show room building complex, along Owerri-Port Harcourt express road, during early hours of the morning on Thursday 27TH of August 2020 and some said his corpse stayed their for two days before it was identified.

But the confusion surrounding his death is nobody knew weather, he was alone in the vehicle that he was traveling with or standing alone waiting for transport, when he was attacked and the corpse have been deposited in the mortuary as police carries out their investigation to unravel what led to his death. 

The timber and allied traders in Naze, accused ohaji militants of been responsible for the death of their colleague and his name was not disclosed to Drizzlersnews corespondent.
