Ahmad Lawan dropped, as five top APC presidential aspirants, from the South zone tipped to emerge

 

As Nigerians anticipate the All Progressive Congress (APC) national convention, and the presidential primary election, will place at the Eagle square in Abuja, where a candidate will emerge as the winner, and to represent the party in the 2023 general election.  

Although there have been top lobbying discussions, with the aspirants, governors and president Muhammadu Buhari, to get a consensus candidate for the party. 

But yesterday it was a total confusion, at the party

national secretariat, as a viral news that senator Ahmad Lawan is the consensus candidate, which was a breaking news from the national chairman of APC Adamu Adamu and the national chairman of the northern governors forum, governor Simon Lailong and other state governors, distant themselves from the endorsement of senate president and insist that power must shift, to the southern zone of the country and the chairman of the northern governors forum, further disclosed to the Drizzlersnews correspondent, that the issue of consensus have not collapsed and out of the remaining thirteen aspirants, five been tipped as possible emerge of the race and later repelled that nobody was disqualified, but anybody can still contest for the presidential primary election and it was selected through alphabetical order and five top aspirants in his list are south east, south south and south west aspirants and the five names are Rotimi Amaechi, Ahmed Bola Tinubu, Olukayode Fayemi, David Umahi, Yemi Osinbajo are the consensus aspirants and one person must emerge as the candidate of APC, as Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan was dropped from the tips given by Plateau state governor Simon Lailong.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
