Anglican Bishop and family kidnapped at Oyo / Ogbomoso express road



It has been confirmed by the police public relation officer of Kwara state command, Adewale Osifeso who said that the Anglican bishop of Jebba diocese Rev .Oluwaseun

Aderogba was kidnapped on Sunday, along Oyo by Ogbomoso express road in Kwara state, including his wife and driver, you were with him at the time of the incident occurred. 

The matter was reported and registered at Atiba divisional police head quarter in the state by an Anglican vicar Rev.Adekunle Adeluwa and the PPRO disclosed to the Drizzlersnews correspondent, that the bishop's vehicle developed a mechanical fault, while he was on his way from Yewa in Ogun state to Jebba in Kwara state. 

Although an investigation have commenced to ensure that the clergy regain his freedom from the hands of his hostage captivities.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
