Biodun Oyebanji uphold APC victory flag in Ekiti governorship election

 


It has not been an easy go exercise in the Ekiti state governorship election, to get the successor of John Olukayode Fayemi, as sixteen political parties and their

candidates participated in the election. 

From the voter's registration record, provided by the  Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) Ekiti state have a total of nine hundred and eighty nine thousand two hundred and two ( 989,202) electorates and a total of three and sixty three thousand four hundred and thirty eighty (363,438) voters were accredited. 

After a thorough counting of the votes cast and satisfied the necessary requirements, INEC resident commissioner Dr.Adeniran Tella have declared the All Progressive Congress candidate Abayomi Biodun Oyebanji winner of the Ekiti governorship election, with a total polled votes of one hundred and eighty seven thousand fifty seven (187,057) and will pilot the affairs of the state, in the next four years.
