President Muhammadu Buhari open speech at the APC convention, is on inherit of bad economy

 Your excellency the vice president of Nigeria, professor Yemi Osinbajo, the first lady of Nigeria, Ashia Buhari, senate president, Ahmad Lawan, speaker house of representative, Yakubu Dogara, delegates and APC stakeholders members.

I thank you all for your roles, to ensure the organization of the All Progressive Congress presidential convention,

especially the national party chairman of APC, Abdullahi Adamu, we need not to rest on the party's achievements in the past, i appeal that all the presidential aspirants, to abide by the rules and regulations of the presidential primary election and in every competition, there must be winner and a loser, but we must maintain the spirit of sportsmanship.

I enjoin you delegates, to be fair, to all presidential aspirants,in this primary election and it must be follow due process, we must ensure that the party remain united, at this critical time, especially the national working committee, and i congratulate all the APC candidates, that emerged victory at the various primary elections that was conducted in our various states. 

But so far, since the commencement of my present administration, as the president of Nigeria, i inherited a bad economy, from the past administration and the oil bench mark, was at one hundred dollars per barrel and our infrastructural development, were totally decayed and no attention, was paid to them, and there have been incessant terror attack, in the various parts of the country and we have made success in stirring the democratic process of Nigeria, especially in fighting the Coronavirus pandemic and tackle of terrorism, but we must ensure that the country continue, to move forward and i thank you all for your support.
