Politics: Imo state blogger, show the bad state of roads in Owerri

 

Orjisblog is a renowned online media personality from Imo state, have shown the bad state of roads in the twenty seven local government area's in Imo state, by serving her love a hot breakfast tea, on a flooded area at Ohi community in Owerri west local government, despite  governor Hope Uzodinma's agenda, which is on the symbol of 3R, that is recovery, reconstruction, rehabilitation. 

But Uzodinma is more focused in Owerri municipal local government roads, with his urban renewal program and he has demolished all the round about in Owerri, except Assumpta cathedral control post, as well embarked on mass dualization of all the roads and reconstructing some water channels at MCC road and Chukwuma Nwoha road into close by stream at Otammiri and reconstruct Eke-Ukwu Owerri market, as well other market projects, all have been done since one year in office, by governor Hope Uzodinma. 

Harmonization of payment of salaries and pensions at when due, given cars to judges and buses civil servants to help aide their transportation system, restoration of the traffic lights in Owerri. 

Soon the local government will commence the mass reconstruction of all road projects and empowerment, as well as training of farmers.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
