Imo state international conference center (IICC), which is one of the numerous projects constructed during the administration of former governor of Imo state Owelle Rochas Okorocha, who is now representing Orlu senatorial zone at the national assembly.
According to the report received by the Drizzlersnews, from different trending pictures on social media, it has been confirmed that the interior pop ceiling fittings, inside and outside, have collapsed and not the complete structure, but the cause of the collapse, was due to the water droplet leakages on the roof, which weakened it and was not given an adequate maintenance attention, as so many people have accused Owelle, of been corrupt and speculated that it was due to the inferior materials, used in erecting the building structure, as most of his building projects built, do not last long, so many of them have cracks on it's walls and some of the building roofing sheets are blown away by heavy winds, like the Owerri city school or Dan Anyiam hand ball stadium, as well any other school built projects are nothing to take home in confidence of years project. But from the IICC building collapse incident, no causality was recorded.
