The Amamow Owerri n'ichi-ise autonomous community in Owerri Municipal Local Government Area in Imo State, conducted her youth election held on the 19th of November 2017 at Samuel Njemanze Primary School located at Ekeonunwa market square. The Amawom youth are made of six kindred that make up  Amawom autonomous community they are Umu-Ekeonunwa, Umu-Njemanze,Umu-Eruperenwa, Umu-Ogugba na eke, Umu-Okoro and Umu-Okorie.
