Death Escape In Owerri.

An accident occurred this morning at exactly 6.00 AM at Jevnik junction in Ikenegbu, along Nwaturuocha Street by Ekwema Crescent in Owerri Imo state.
A Catholic Rev. sister of the Carmelite who was driving a Toyota white Hiace bus collided with another bus of  FBI foods" under the Rapido transport company Limited (ABC Transport.) 
However, no death was recorded on the accident, only  injuries.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
