Olumba's Victory Shatters Amawom Political Cabal




The Amamow Owerri n'ichi-ise autonomous community in Owerri Municipal Local Government Area in Imo State, conducted her youth election held on the 19th of November 2017 at Samuel Njemanze Primary School located at Ekeonunwa market square.
The Amawom youth are made of six kindred that make up  Amawom autonomous community they are Umu-Ekeonunwa, Umu-Njemanze,Umu-Eruperenwa, Umu-Ogugba na eke, Umu-Okoro and Umu-Okorie.
As early as 7.00 AM the youths filed up in their large number for accreditation and to cast their votes which will be decided with their votes who will be their leaders in the next two years under the watchful supervision of the electoral committee Chairman Prince Okechukwu Njemanze and heavily beefed up uniform military personnel to ensure that peace is maintained during the election and the environment was highly tensed especially for the post of chairman which three strong candidates are contesting for the position the include Ekwebelam John Excel, Nnwere Nkenna A.C, and Njemanze Stephen Olumba  and twenty others who are contesting for various positions. But all odds were against Njemanze stephen Olumba  during the time of their debates and the political cabals tried to bribe electorate with money to vote for their candidates and the electoral chairman to declare their candidate the winner but he stood on his ground despite all challenges he faced during the election.     
But according to the electoral chairman prince Okechukwu Njemanze declared Stephen Olumba Njemanze the winner of the election  Stephen Olumba Njemanze got 583 votes,Nwere Kenna Austin 381 votes, Ekwebelam John Excel got 286 votes, and here is the list of successful candidates that won the election
