Liberian President Sirleaf Ellen Johnson In Imo State Nigeria
Liberian President Her Excellency Sirleaf Ellen Johnson was yesterday received at the Obi-Ndi Eze in Mbari street in Owerri Municipal Local Government Area in Imo State. It was around 2.00 PM scheduled for her arrival but after much delays She later arrived at exactly 8.30 PM in the night with her entourage and she was received by the traditional council of Ndi Eze in Imo State lead by His Royal Highness Eze .Samuel Agunwa Ohiri and other traditional rulers, in the presence of Imo State Governor His Excellency Owelle Rochas Okorocha with other Imo State Government officials.
There were cultural dance to mark the activity of the day she was given an Igbo name Nwakaego by his Excellency Owelle Rochas Okorocha and according to section 30 of Imo state traditional council law, she is entitled to traditional chieftancy title and she was given Chief (Mrs) Sirleaf Ellen (Nwakaego) Johnson

His Excellency Rochas Okorocha the Excutive Governor of Imo state thanked her for coming to Imo state and said he (Owelle) was in her office in Liberia to inform her about his charity foundation and to give him five children of the poorest family which he could give hope through his foundation free of charge.
Then use the opportunity to highlight the achievement of Liberian President Sirleaf Ellen Johnson in Liberia as the first female president and the 83rd influential woman in the world and emerging as the president of Liberia which brought drastic peace in Liberia.
Then highlighting his own achievement as the Governor of Imo State which include Free Education from Kindergarten to Tertiary Institutions, Security, Health and Road network and said in Nigeria women are given thirty percent equity in leadership and asking the women to join in the political history of Nigeria which Imo State is at the forefront of equality in leadership and Her Excellency Sirleaf Ellen Johnson to be confer with the Grand Chancellor of Imo State at the Imo State hall of fame in new Owerri and unveiling of her sculptural statue Ellen is here to partner with Rochas Foundation like other presidents Nana- Kofo of Ghana, Jacob Zuma of South Africa.
Her Excellency Sirleaf Ellen Jonhson of Liberia thanked Imo State Governor His Excellency Owelle Rochas Okorocha for given her opportunity to be in their mixed despite the flight delay and other logistics which made the journey difficult expressed her joy that she was finally in Imo State. Then extended her regards to the president of Nigeria His Excellency President Muhammadu Buhari and thanked all Nigerians for their support during the time Liberia was having war crisis and the fought, the died and today Liberia is in peace and encouraged women to join in the political history of Nigeria by utilizing their thirty percent opportunity been given to women in political leadership of Nigeria and are excepted to do more to make Nigeria a better place and thanked all the traditional rulers in Imo state for the chieftancy title .
