Insecurity: Kogi state prison attacked by bandits

 



Nigerian correctional service cell,in Kabba Kogi state, was attacked by armed bandits. 

According to the report received by the Drizzlersnews correspondent,through the Nigerian correctional service public relation officer Francis Enobore, who said the

prison attack, occurred mid night on Sunday and from his record a total of two hundred and forty prison inmates escaped.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
