Palace of emir of Kagara in Niger state attacked


It was a terrified horrible Tuesday evening, in Rafi local government area in Niger state, as a group of sixty armed

bandits, with twenty motorcycles, stormed the palace of Emir of Kagara in Niger state, Alhaji Adamu Ahmed Attahiru (11), and shot sporadically at exactly 6.00 pm, which created anxious rowdiness in the community, as so many people abandoned their families and ran for their lives. 

 


According to the report received by the Drizzlersnews correspondent,who confirmed that the emir of Kagara alhaji Adamu Ahmed was not in his community, for the past two weeks and investigations carried out, it was speculated, that the bandits came in, through a thick forest, close to Attahiru primary school,where some students were kidnapped one month ago.  And every effort made to reach Rafi local government council chairman Ismaila Danmodibo and the police public relation officer, on phone failed.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
