It is my first time of attending Uguzo cultural festival- Comrade Philip Ejiogu



Comrade Philip Ejiogu who secured the Owerri-North state house of assembly ticket under People's Democratic Party(PDP). Have congratulated the indigenous people of Emekuku for celebrating their annual Uguzo cultural festival and declared that it is his first time of attending our annual Uguzo cultural event since his childhood because politics have exposed him to know more people as well a lot of places in Owerri-North local government area of Imo state especially to know the history of our people and uguzo cultural festival dancing steps as well access the infrastructural development which he has come to salvage.


Although Philip Ejiogu was a graduate of chemical engineering under Federal University of Technology Owerri before going for his masters degree course at Aberdeen University in Scotland works with an oil servicing firm.



 He is the son of well known entrepreneur and a board of trustee member under people's democratic party in Owerri - North local government area of Imo state and the chief executive officer of Pilgrims dry cleaning limited Mr. Ambrose Ejiogu

Nkotonko music drama actors Omalicha and Akuebe in movie audition

Nkotonko an Igbo Nollywood drama music comedy actors Emeka Ngannori  (Omalicha) and Shadon Onukaogu as well known as Akuebe were spotted at Bongo square in Owerri with other actors and actresses participating in a movie audition. Emeka asked their fans to keep supporting them and the should expect more new movies from them soon Nkotonko reloaded will be released. but the issue of Nkotonko been involved in rituals killings or armed robbery which was seen on the social media they are all false information to tarnish the personality and Image of the actor in the society.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked. But if their is any only those in it knew the secret and history as indigenous members of that community so many of them were scared to unfold the history and mystery of Owu cultural festival as a non indigenous member of that community i was not allowed to go into their mix for an interview and anything you have to appreciate them you drop it on the floor but it is believed according to christian doctrine that it is an Idol wors
