AJV Obinna removes all political posters from the holy family sculpture at control post






The catholic archdioceses of Owerri bishop his grace most reverend Valentine Amarachi Obinna, while the Christmas celebration is been marked world wide for the birth of a new born king Jesus. 

Obinna could not withheld his reproach speech on Imo state political contestants for their lack of restitution on the holy family sculpture as a symbolization of our present family institution on earth and ordered that all posters defacing the art work at control post  junction now presently known as assumpta avenue in Owerri Imo state which was  immediately removed at exactly 1.00PM on the 25th of December 2018.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
